Riding To The Top renewed as premier accredited center

Riding To The Top Therapeutic Riding Center (RTT) has been notified that they have once again passed a full program assessment to retain its PATH International accreditation as a Premier Accredited Center.

RTT had a 100% pass rate on all 96 standards reviewed.  Standards cover administration and business practices, equine welfare and management, facilities management, mounted and unmounted equine assisted activities and therapeutic carriage driving (TCD accreditation is new for Riding To The Top in 2016).

A PATH International Premier Accredited Center since 2000, RTT is one of only 257 such centers internationally and one of 19 in New England.

Executive Director Sarah Bronson shared why she thinks this distinction is important for the community. ”Riding To The Top values the accreditation process with PATH International. The Premier Accredited Center status says to our clients, their families, our volunteers and donors, that we uphold the highest standards for safety and quality in the Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) industry.”  Bronson noted that RTT used the preparation for accreditation as an educational opportunity for its staff, volunteers and clients.  She is grateful for the extra efforts of RTT’s staff, volunteers, parents and riders. “It was another example of great teamwork at RTT- everyone pitched in to prepare and participate in the review.”
