The
Windham Community Garden and the Human Services Advisory Committee have started
a petition to have a service brought to Windham that would be a sort of
recycling program for kitchen scraps including meat, dairy and bones. Families
would put out their compost materials and the company would bring back a clean
bucket and compost that’s ready for vegetable and flower gardens when requested.
There is a small fee for the service. For more information on the program visit
