Windham Christian Academy’s Amanda Huang, 14, is The
Windham Eagle student of the week. Huang is in Richard Hagerstrom’s eighth
grade.
“Amanda is a born leader but loves to have fun. She
recently attended the ACSI Middle School Leadership Conference in Lexington
Massachusetts and won the impromptu talent show by juggling three shoes! She
was also chosen to participate in the District II Music Conference on clarinet
and is a force to be reckoned with on the soccer field. She is always available
with a kind word for her fellow students and is a dependable source for
anything we need done at school,” said her teacher and Donna Soares, the school
secretary.
Huang would like to attend medical school for psychiatry.
Her favorite subject is math and her favorite animal is a kitten. She enjoys
the Step Up series and likes to dance, juggle, and play soccer and basketball.
When I’m not in school, I’m staying active, listening to
music or doing homework.
