New drug drop-off box installed

Last week the Windham Police Union, the Windham Rescue Association and Walgreens came together and purchased a Drug Drop Off box and installed it in the lobby of the Windham Public Safety building, 375 Gray Road. 

Officer Matt Cyr has partnered with a national organization in the past to collect unwanted and expired prescriptions, over the counter medications and supplements so they could be properly disposed of. He has been a huge proponent for getting a drop off box for the lobby at Windham PD and organized this project. 

The box is available in the lobby of the public safety building for Windham residents Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. any time of the year.
