The Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce will honor individuals and businesses from the ten-town region it represents at their annual meeting held at Spring Meadows Golf Club in Gray on January 9th. The event, sponsored by Tri-County Mental Health, Saint Joseph’s College, Luanne Cameron State Farm and Gorham Savings Bank, will be a festive evening celebrating a year of innovation, growth and honorable accomplishments within the Sebago Lakes Region business community.
The
following people will receive awards.
Ann
Marie Swenson of Peoples United Bank will be awarded with the Frank Koenig Business Person of the Year. Ann Marie is a long time director on
the SLRCC Board, a dynamic and successful leader at Peoples United Bank, and is
tirelessly motivated to enhance the business community in our region.
Tina
Christophersen of Windham Raymond Adult Education will be honored as Volunteer of the Year and Robert Neault
of Neault & Associates with a Community
Service Leadership award for his efforts with the Naples Causeway
Restoration project.
New
honors being bestowed this year include Entrepreneur of the Year, going to
Dwayne Harris of Blossoms of Windham, and Business of the Year being awarded to
Gorham Savings Bank. The organization will also welcome three new directors to
their board including, Bob Caron of Naples Golf & Country Club, Luanne
Cameron of State Farm in Standish and Judi Jones of InfoHarbor LLC, located in
Gorham.
The
evening will also include a keynote address “What if we were Disney?”
presented by Diane Dunton of Potential Released Consulting.
