The Windham Eagle student of the week is 9-year-old Olivia
Hamilton, who attends Raymond Elementary School. She is in Mrs. Potter’s fourth
grade class.
One of her greatest or perhaps the greatest to date
accomplishment is when she became a member of the Caring Assistance Team at
RES.
She was named student of the week by the teachers at RES
because “She is a dedicated and enthusiastic learner and epitomizes what it
means to be part of the Caring Assistant Team.”
“I have loved all my teachers at RES and have loved them all
for different reasons. All of them made me a better learner,” she said about
her education champions. She likes to do big projects and work in groups when
learning, she said.
For fun she enjoys reading, biking and swimming (in the
summer). She also likes dance, soccer, basketball and chorus. She is a member
of Girl Scouts.
She would like to go to college to become a marine
biologist.
Olivia lives with her mom Tammy and her dad Brad. She has a
dog named Daisy and a cat named Max.
