In celebration of National Drinking Water Week, the
Portland Water District is hosting FREE events and activities for consumers to
learn about and understand water and its vast importance to our daily
lives.
“Last Call at the Oasis”: A documentary film about the
global water crisis:

Join us for a showing of the documentary, “Last Call at the Oasis”. This compelling film by acclaimed filmmaker Jessica Yu, examines the current and future global water situation. “Last Call at the Oasis” also examines what can be done to help save our freshwater supplies before it's too late. The film will be followed by an opportunity to discuss the issues raised in the film with experts from the drinking water community. This film is rated PG-13; the event is geared toward an adult audience.

ways? The tour includes a visit to the laboratory, where scientists will
discuss how the quality and safety of your drinking water is tested. This event
is geared toward an adult audience.
