Windham
Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a Windham organization made up of local volunteers
who raise funds to purchase heating fuel for local residents who have either
run out or nearly run out of heating fuel during the coldest months of the
winter. We are an IRS defined 501c3 nonprofit which means all donations are tax
deductible. We are proud to say that
every dollar donated goes to the purchase of heating fuel …100% of every dollar!
In
order to purchase the needed heating fuel we rely on the generous donations of
local businesses, churches, community service groups and individuals. Each September we have a fundraiser that
provides a portion of the money needed for the upcoming winter. This
year our fundraiser, which includes an excellent dinner plus both a silent and a
live auction, will be hosted by St. Joseph’s College on Friday, September 22
from 6 p.m to 9 p.m.
We
have fantastic items to auction including a riding John Deere lawnmower,
helicopter rides, backpack leaf blower, a new Raleigh 18-speed touring bike and
so much more. The silent auction will
also feature many excellent items as well.
We
are fortunate to have professional auctioneer, Stef Keenan - a definite crowd
favorite – headlining the evening. His
focus on audience involvement guarantees a good time for all …not to mention
the great bargains waiting for bidders.
Please
join us by calling for tickets that include a delicious meal and a chance to
buy incredible items at great prices.
Most of all – you’ll be helping a great cause!
