Commanders Don Roy of the Kenison-Hooper Post in Standish
and Mel Greenier of the Field-Allen Post in Windham are looking forward to
offering Bingo and Games of Chance for the seventh year at the Windham Veterans
Center.
The Standish and Windham posts have had a great relationship
for the past six years. Moving the operation in 2012 from a private hall in
Buxton to the Windham Veterans Center was truly a win-win proposition. The
operation provides the Center six months of steady rental income and the
all-volunteer group from Standish gets the satisfaction of knowing every dollar
generated goes to helping veterans.

This year Bingo will operate every Tuesday starting on May 1st
and ending on October 30th. Doors open at 4 p.m. The Early Bird Game
starts at 6:10 p.m. and the regular games start at 6:30 p.m. A fifty-fifty
raffle starts at 4 p.m. and runs to just before 6:10 p.m. Games of Chance/Pull
Tabs start 4 p.m. and run through intermission.
The Kenison-Hooper Auxiliary provides pastries, coffee, soft
drinks and water through intermission.
