The Sebago Lake Anglers’ Association’s fourth annual
Sebago Lake Togue Derby and registration deadlines are quickly approaching. The
annual Lake Togue Derby is scheduled for September 8 to 9, 2018 at beautiful
Point Sebago Resort. Cash prizes will be paid to ten (10) open categories, a
women’s only category, and two children’s categories. Top Prize will be $500 for
the biggest fish by weight with a special lottery for all legally caught Togue.
Additional cash and merchandise will
depend upon the prize committee’s success with local merchants. An awards
ceremony with adult beverages available begins around 3 PM Sunday at the weigh
in station by the Pt. Sebago docks.
Pt. Sebago is offering a special Derby package which
includes accommodations at $159 per person double occupancy that includes two
night’s stay in a park home, boat launching privileges, dock space for
overnight use, trailer storage, evening meals for two nights including an
Italian Buffet Friday night and
Lobster/Prime Rib Saturday night, and two box lunches. Reserve your space
separately with them. Fees for the derby are $30/adult and $10/ child under 16
yoa. Register for the derby at Naples Bait and Tackle, RT 35 in Naples,
Jordan’s Store in Sebago, or Northeast Harbor Marina in Standish. Registration
