‘Howdy Neighbor Hoedown’ to boost Windham Neighbors Helping Neighbors

The Windham Neighbors Helping Neighbors organization is pleased to bring back the Howdy Neighbor Hoedown fundraiser on Thursday, Sept. 21 at Erik’s Church in Windham.

This country themed event promises to entertain guests while supporting the mission of Windham Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

“Get your tickets soon for a boot-stompin’ good time while raising funds to help our Windham neighbors in need,” said Barb Maurais, Windham Neighbors Helping Neighbors board member.

The Howdy Neighbor Hoedown will feature heavy appetizers and desserts, a live band, and both live and silent auctions. Last year Erik’s Church was a new venue for the popular annual Windham Neighbors Helping Neighbors event and positive guest feedback resulted in its return there this fall.

Along with access to nearby parking, a well-stocked bar, a great sound system, and a climate-controlled environment were all big improvements for the fundraiser. Coupled with some new surprises planned for this year, WNHN is hoping this year’s event will be its best-ever fundraiser filled with fun, great food, great music, and participants.

“Last year’s event at Erik’s Church was awesome. People really enjoyed themselves.” said Patrick Corey, Windham Neighbors Helping Neighbors president. “Live entertainment, a fast-paced and dynamic schedule, a casual event and atmosphere, and being a Thursday night should keep the event lively and convenient for folks trying to live it up on the weekends before fall arrives.”

This year the Howdy Neighbor Hoedown offers reserved seating for tables of eight and four located toward the front of the house. General admission tickets will also be available for purchase.

Tickets can be purchased conveniently and securely online at EventBrite through Sept. 18. For tickets, visit https://windhamneighbors.com/howdyneighborhoedown
