The Windham Chamber Singers are excited to announce plans
for the 2013 edition of An American Family Holiday. According to Dr. Richard Nickerson, the
conductor, the concerts will take place on December 7, at 2:00 and 7:30 in the
Windham Performing Arts Center. Tickets
will go on sale Monday, October 7 at 8 a.m.
Special guests this year will include Ashley Liberty,
violinist and Daniel Strange, pianist, who have become local favorites. Once
again, the concerts will honor many local traditions and also introduce some
new surprises.
The Windham Chamber Singers are also pleased to welcome
back Norm Lewis, best known to millions of musical theater fans as Javert in
the 25th anniversary celebration concert of Les Miserables. Lewis was recently nominated for a Tony award for
his role in The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess
on Broadway. According to Nickerson, “Lewis was our special guest in 2011
and instantly became an audience favorite.” We are excited to share the stage again with Norm
Lewis and excited to continue our tradition of bringing the highest quality
performers to Windham,” said Nickerson.
Kim Block from WGME-TV will host the concerts.
Tickets are $10 - $30 reserved seating and can be
