Greta Spaulding performed the solo
"Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" at the Windham Primary School Third
Grade Spring Concert "Spaced Out" on April 1. Nicholas Ray waited in
the background for his line "Mission Control, we're ready for lift-off,"
while the rest of the third grade students are ready for the count down. Third grade students in class and in this
musical studied about the solar system and the historical figures that have
helped us explore it. Many of the
students recited quotes from famous people and included an original recording
from 1969 "That's one small step for man; one giant leap for
mankind." This was spoken by Neil Armstrong from the moon.
Music teachers for the show were Patti
Gordan, Charles Oehrtmann and Nancy Cash-Cobb.
