Despite
the freezing cold wind on Saturday evening, March 4, the Ice Bar Fundraising
event organized by Arctic Spirits, located at Buck’s Naked BBQ, was a success
with slightly over $4,500 raised for Camp Sunshine.

“Everything
went really well and people had a great time,” Emily Wainwright, one of the
organizers, stated. “We are definitely aiming for a second annual Ice Bar
fundraising event, tentatively scheduled for February 24, 2018 and we are obviously
hoping for better weather.”
Those
who sponsored the event included: Windham Indoor Shooting Range, Gorham
Savings, Mechanics Savings, Hicks Productions, Metayer Family Eye Care,
Milliken, Perkins & Brunelle and Buck’s Naked BBQ. “They all were wonderful,”
Wainwright said of the sponsors. “As were all the amazing places that donated
raffle and auction items to make it such a success.”
