Windham’s Cross Insurance manager to chair Maine Insurance Agents Association

Maine Insurance Agents Association members have elected Laurie A. Noel of Windham to lead the organization as 2026 chairwoman.

Noel serves as the Branch Manager of Cross Insurance in Windham as well as Corporate Vice President of Personal Insurance. Cross Insurance is a family owned and operated independent insurance agency whose home office is based in Bangor.

She has been a dedicated employee with the agency since 2002 and has been licensed since 1992 as a property/casualty insurance agent. Noel’s experience includes Personal Insurance, Risk Management, Property and Casualty Insurance, Commercial Insurance, Underwriting and more.

Noel is a graduate of the University of New England with a degree in business and is originally from Rumford, Maine.

Among Noel’s first official duties as chairwoman was to lead the 2026 Maine Insurance Agents Association’s Annual Business Meeting and Convention on April 26 and April 27 at the Doubletree Hotel in South Portland.
