Workshop provided to help make bows for Everlasting Gratitude Wreaths by Dave Tanguay

The Field-Allen Legion Post in Windham is sponsoring a wreath program (Everlasting Gratitude) to place approximately 850 wreaths on the graves of all Veterans in the Windham cemeteries this coming December. A red, white, and blue bow will need to be made for each wreath.

To support this venture, the Post will be hosting a Wreath-Making Work Shop to make these bows on Monday, October 2 at 9 a.m. at the Windham Veterans Center.  Local florist, Libby Jordan, of Studio Flora will conduct the workshop and provide instruction as to how to make professional bows for the wreaths.

All bow materials will be provided. Individuals may want to bring their own shears and a set of pliers. Please consider attending the workshop and help make the bows for this wonderful remembrance of our fallen veterans. The workshop is open to all groups or individuals who would like to help the cause.

For additional information contact, Dave Tanguay, Post Adjutant at 892-1306
