Windham Lions Club held their 14th annual “Stuff
the Bus” event at Hannaford’s on Saturday, December 2. “Every seat on the bus
was completely filled with boxed food and canned goods,” stated Bob Simmons of
the Windham Lions Club. “In fact, there were two layers of food on every seat.
It was a great turn out.”
Last year, the club donated approximately 850 pounds worth
of food to the Windham Food Pantry. Although the final weight has yet to be
determined from Saturday’s event, it is expected that more food will be donated
to the Pantry this year.
