Leah Walker is The Windham Eagle student of the week. The
Jordan-Small Middle School seventh grader loves math and science. She has a
Newfie dog named Calypso.
“Seventh grader Leah Walker is a fun, compassionate and
enthusiastic student. She is always ready and willing to help others. Leah is a
diligent worker in and out of school. She has a positive attitude about
learning in all of her classes. Her teachers say she is like sunshine that
lights up a room. Her friends think Leah is awesome and great to hang out
with,” the Academic Enrichment Team at JSMS said.
She said she likes her school because “I like learning new
things, my friend and teachers.”
She would like to be a hockey player or a coach when she
grows up.
Favorite movie: Despicable Me
Hobbies: Lacrosse
When I’m not in school, I’m playing hockey or hanging out
with friends.
